Section 3: Getting Around on the Mountain
So, now you're through the sign-up process, you've gotten your ticket, rental equipment, lesson, etc. Here are some pointers regarding places to eat, amenities, etc.

Lodges and Cafeterias
Loon has two base lodges located at opposite ends of the main parking lot: the Octagon Base Lodge, located in the east base area (walk through or around the front of the gondola building); and the Governor Adams Lodge, located in the west base area, past the Kancamagus Quad high-speed chairlift. The base lodges have lockers and baskets available. For a fee you can store your belongings in these lockers while on the slopes. You can also get good, hearty breakfasts and lunches in the lodges, or relax and watch other skiers and riders come down the mountain. We ask that you not store your belongings under the tables in the cafeterias. Storing your belongings under tables leaves them vulnerable to theft, damage, and is not considerate of other guests who need a place to sit.

In addition to the two base lodges, Loon also offers food at the mid-mountain Camp 3 lodge, located at the base of the North Peak chair; and the Summit Cafe, located at the summit, overlooking beautiful Loon Pond.

Restrooms and Telephones
Restrooms and telephones are located in the lower levels of both base lodges. Additionally, rest rooms are located in the mid-mountain Camp 3 lodge, and at the Summit Cafe.

Information Services
For directions, information, and helpful tips, and all your informational needs, just visit the Information desk in the Octagon lodge in the East Base area, or in the lower level of the Governor's Lodge in the West Base area.

First Aid
Loon's First Aid Room is accessible from the East Base side of the parking lot. It is located slopeside of the administration/gondola building. Ask any staff member if you ever need assistance. We're happy to summon Ski Patrol for you.
